Interview with Active Ian Dickinson - Quota 5 Today I met with Ian at Kerkhoff Patio. We spoke about the pledging process and Ian asked me about the wellbeing of the squash that I was guarding. He told me a bit about his own pledging process and then gave me some tips on how to make it through these few final last weeks. We spoke about Ian's math homework and I asked him about being an applied math major as that is definitely a unique major to have in a pre-law fraternity. We also spoke about Ian's interest in golf which was quite interesting. I had a good time speaking with Ian, and I hope to do so again in the near future.

Interview with Active Emmy Shaw - Quota 5 I had the pleasure of meeting up with Emmy. We both bonded over our shared love of Shrek, however we disagreed over what the best movie is. I thought that the original Shrek was the best movie in the Shrek series, but Emmy thought that Shrek 2 was better. We also spoke about her experiences being British, this was really interesting for me as I always love hearing about the experiences of people from other countries or cultures than my own. I really enjoyed speaking with Emmy and I hope to speak with her again sometime in the future.

Interview with Alumni Jason Cheng - Quota 6 This was one of my first interviews with an alumni of Kappa Alpha Pi, I had a really good talk with Jason and was really interested to hear about what life is like post UCLA. It was fascinating to hear about Jason's experiences as an environmental consultant and I enjoyed hearing how important Kappa Alpha Pi was to him throughout his time at UCLA and how it helped him professionally. It was really special to meet someone done with the college process and I feel like I learned a lot from Jason and all the experiences that he has had.
