Quota 5: Aya
In my interview with Aya, I decided to take the opportunity to get to know her on a personal level. I asked her about all the things she enjoyed like snacks and shows because sometimes as people we forget to ask the basic questions. I think these are important facts to know because it shows you care about someone to learn about these things.

Quota 5: Ria
Ria is the sweetest person you will meet. She lives in my building but not once have I ever seen her so it was crazy to find out. We talked about her amazing baking skills and I hope that one day she can teach me how to bake banana bread.

Quota 5: Lucas
I had a great conversation with Lucas today because we talked about how UCLA has a smash bros club. I had no idea that UCLA had clubs for specific video games which was cool to learn.

Quota 5: Maxine
I had a great time speaking with Maxine today she was so sweet. We talked about how coding is its own language which can become very difficult to learn. We were both really excited to participate in pledge/ active sports day and we were sad it go canceled.

Quota 6:Jacob
I had a great time speaking with Jacob over b plate lunch. It was really fun speaking with him because we bonded over the fact that we are blueprints in our families. We talked about how he had to bend his knee and that it was painful experience.

Quota 6: Carter
Carter is also from around the same area that I am from so I enjoyed talking to him about that. We even talked about his job at Trial Partners where he is a reseach assistant. I also found out that he may be going to a trip Thailand.

Quota 6:Anita
When speaking with Anita I found out that she lives in the valleyish which is near me. She lives in thousand oaks so thats 30 minutes away from ucla which is weird but it is on the other side of the valley. I also found out that she has traveled everywhere and that is something that aspire to do.

I had a great conversation with Ranhita. We just talked about her career as a cheerleader and her experience here at UCLA. It was nice knowing that she decided not on going into the legal field but the business side.

My conversation with Lema was also so good we just talked about how we left religion. We talked about all the rules that are placed and that it is hard to be good in the eyes of that religion that we practice.

Josh is so sweet I learned about the tradition he has with Connie and Megan. They basically study all day and when he is here on campus they go to eat somewhere fancy. It was almost like a reward for them.

We talked about her new position in teach for America. She was recently hired which is so cool. I even found out that she has class with one of my pledge brothers.

Today I met with her at Kerckhoff she was so easy to talk to. We just talked about how I am currently taking anthropology. I expressed to her that is it is so difficult.

Emmy is so sweet I was just talking to her about life. We talked about our time here at ucla and how we have grown as a person. She was one of Aya’s friends so she was the sweetest.

It was nice talking to Alexis because we are both Chicanx minors. In our conversation we talked about the classes he has taken because he’s a transfer so he gave me advice on which ones to take. He also wants to be an immigration lawyer.
